I am a certified coach and organizational development consultant and trainer for nonprofit leaders and organizations.  My passion is working with people and organizations who fight for justice in our society and community.  I understand (and love!) the power a group of individuals can have when they find a way to work effectively together.  I bring this excitement to my work in performance management, coaching and communications, project management and developing leadership programs.  I am a certified leadership coach through Leadership That Works and not only bring my coaching to individuals but also with teams.  I was previously responsible for the design and management of CompassPoint’s public training program and played the lead for the organization’s conference program. For nearly 24 years, my work not only focused on developing learning programs for CompassPoint but also facilitated trainings on topics including leadership, performance management, group facilitation, project management, and instructional design.  I am proudly currently serving on the board of Filipino Advocates for Justice.

 

Prior to joining CompassPoint, I was a youth group home supervisor for Star House in San Jose and social worker serving at risk youth in Baltimore.  I earned a BA in Business Administration and Marketing from Loyola College in Baltimore, MD and was part of a group of students that helped lead the development of the Center for Values and Service at Loyola.  I currently live with my partner and three teens where I spend much of my “spare time” trying to keep up with youth sports, college applications, field trips, and homework.
